How do I activate and deactivate surveys?

When a survey is first created, it is automatically set to "Active" status - no additional action is required.

To deactivate an active survey:

  1. Sign in to Ysurvey using your administrative user name and password.
  2. Find the survey you would like to deactivate on the "Manage Ysurvey" screen and click the associated "Deactivate" link.

The survey will be deactivated and inaccessible to users. All administrative functions, however, including editing and viewing responses, will still be available.

To re-activate a survey, click on the "Activate" link on the "Manage Ysurvey" screen.

How can I delete a survey?
To delete a survey:
  1. Sign in to Ysurvey using your administrative user name and password.
  2. Locate the survey on the "Manage Ysurvey" screen and click on the trash can icon .

Please be aware that deleting a survey will also permanently delete all of the responses associated with that survey.

How do I clear survey responses?
To permanently delete all of the responses associated with a survey:
  1. Sign in to Ysurvey using your administrative user name and password.
  2. Locate the survey on the "Manage Ysurvey" screen and click on the "Clear Responses" link.
